Crude oil reserves were booked for the eastcoast offshore for the first time in year-end 1981 reserves.

As with all other areas, reserves for frontier areas are carried in accordance with the definition of established reserves. However, reserves for frontier areas are only shown when a threshold volume has been determined to exist.
