Applications and Extensions

Applications and extensions of the United Nations System of Environmental-Economic Accounting: Central Framework (SEEA-CF) relate to the use of the environmental accounts and data for analytical purposes. Many of these uses relate to the direct linkage of economic data from the System of National Accounts with the environmental data compiled along SEEA-CF guidelines. These combined data can be used for policy making, environmental impact and decoupling analysis, and spatial analysis, for example.
