"Industry" refers to the general nature of the business carried out in the establishment where the person worked, based on the North American Classification System (NAICS) 2012.

'Residence on or off reserve' refers to whether the person's usual place of residence is in a census subdivision (CSD) that is defined as 'on reserve' or 'off reserve'.

Note 3

Includes six census subdivision (CSD) types legally affiliated with First Nations or Indian bands, i.e., Indian reserve (IRI), Indian settlement (S-É) (except for the four Indian settlements of Champagne Landing 10, Klukshu, Two and One-Half Mile Village, Two Mile Village and Kloo Lake located in Yukon), Indian government district (IGD), terres réservées aux Cris (TC), terres réservées aux Naskapis (TK) and Nisga'a land (NL).

Notes: All indicators (including Output and GDP) associated with estimates of 50 jobs or less should be used with caution. For example, if the Utilities industry has 50 jobs or less, then the output and GDP estimates for that same industry should be used with caution.
All estimates in this table are preliminary and, as such, subject to revision.
