Note(s):
Authors' calculation from T2-LEAP file. The results are based
on the decomposition method by Baldwin and Gu. The weighted average across
industries is calculated using average industry output shares. The weighted
sum of multifactor productivity growth across industries may differ from multifactor
productivity growth in the total retailing sector. The difference can be attributed
to the effect of output shifts across industries.
