The average level of life satisfaction across years
Table summary
This table displays summary statistics and regression coefficients representing average life satisfaction scores across several survey years. The row headers list two approaches: in one the original life satisfaction scale is retained; in the other, the 0-to-10 scale for several surveys is converted into a 1-to-10 scale to match the remaining surveys. Within each approach, the row headers identify the mean life satisfaction score, its standard deviation, regression intercepts from survey-specific regressions and regression coefficients on year dummies from a regression on pooled survey data. The column headers list survey name and survey year.
