Dynamic Blinder-Oaxaca decompositions of the change in the age log wage gap
Table summary
This table displays the results of dynamic Blinder-Oaxaca decompositions of the change in the age log wage gap performed over the 1981-to-1998 period. Two samples are examined: men aged 17 to 24 combined with men aged 55 to 64; and women aged 17 to 24 combined with women aged 55 to 64. The row headers describe the portion of the narrowing of the age log wage gap explained by selected worker and job characteristics. The column headers describe the samples considered and, for each sample, whether the explained components are measured in absolute value (number) or in percentage points (percent).
