Zero-emission vehicles in Ontario, 2020
Registrations of new zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) in Ontario remain below 2018 levels.
In 2020, 1.8% of new vehicles registered were ZEVs, up from 1.2% in 2019.
More new ZEVs were registered in Ontario in 2020 (10,515) than a year earlier (9,762), but registrations remained well below 2018 levels (16,365).
