Completing apprenticeship training in Canada

Most apprentices take longer than the usual program duration to earn their certificate. Among those who registered for apprenticeship training between 2008 and 2014, only 16% had earned their certificate by the end of the program duration.

Proportion of apprentices who earned a certificate, who were continuing in their program, or who left their program, within the program duration or within 1.5 times or 2 times the program duration, 2008 to 2016
