  • In Canada, the average employment rate for men was 74.2% in 2010, compared with 72.7% across the OECD. For women, the rate was 68.8% in Canada and 56.7% across the OECD.
  • In 2010, Canadians worked an average of 1,702 hours per year. The OECD average was 1,749 hours.
