Chart 1 Of those Canadians living in OECD countries other than the US,1 the overwhelming majority reside in the UK
This single vertical bar graph indicates that in descending order in 2000-2001, the greatest proportion of Canadian-born emigrants were living in the United States, that is more than 80% of the Canadians living abroad in OECD countries. Aside from the United States, the vast majority (72,500) lived in the United Kingdom. Other canadian-born emigrants were living, still in descending order, in Australia, France, Greece, tje Netherlands, New Zealand, Switzerland, Portugal and Japan. The other host countries listed here welcomed less than 6,000 Canadian-born emigrants.
