Chart 2. More than 4 in 10 male cohort members who were referred to court first appeared after their 18th birthday

This bar chart illustrates the cumulative percentage of the male study cohort by their age at the time of their first offence. The bars rise steadily from 1.0% of the cohort at age 12 to 28.2% of the cohort at age 21.
