    This service offers custom tabulations from the Childhood National Immunization Coverage Survey (CNICS) which was conducted for the Public Health Agency of Canada to provide data on national immunization coverage for childhood vaccines. The primary objective of the CNICS is to determine if children are immunized in accordance with recommended immunization schedules for publicly-funded vaccines, provide the World Health Organization and the Pan American Health Organization with estimates of national immunization coverage for diphtheria-pertussis-tetanus (DPT) and for measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) and other vaccines for children. The CNICS also collects information about knowledge, attitudes, and awareness of vaccines. The survey will allow the Public Health Agency of Canada to estimate immunization coverage of children age 2, 7, and 17 and girls aged 12-14 years old on a biennial basis.
