Key indicators such as the 12-month and 1-month inflation rates and price trends are presented in interactive charts, allowing users to compare and analyze price changes of all the goods and services in the CPI basket over time as well as across geography (national, provincial and territorial levels).

    Other CPI indicators available in this tool include the Bank of Canada’s core measures of inflation, seasonally adjusted inflation rates, and CPI basket weights based on household consumer expenditures from the Survey of Household Spending.

    This web-based application is updated monthly, as soon as the data for the latest reference month is released in The Daily.

    The purpose of this paper is to present an overview of the accelerometer-measured moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA) levels of Canadian adults by age and sex, and adherence to physical activity guidelines from 2007 through 2017. A secondary purpose is to examine how the 10-minute bout stipulation affects levels of MVPA and adherence to the current physical activity guidelines.     The Canadian Health Measures Survey (CHMS) provides a unique opportunity to examine the characteristics of the population with unperceived hearing loss-a term that refers to those who do not self-report a hearing impairment despite having some audiometrically measured hearing loss. Data from cycles 3 (2012 to 2013) and 4 (2014 to 2015) of the CHMS were combined and used to examine the adult population aged 40 to 79 years with unperceived hearing loss. The analysis describes the prevalence of audiometrically measured hearing loss and self-reported hearing impairment. The prevalence of unperceived hearing loss was examined by selected sociodemographic, health and other characteristics.

It is designed for a broad audience that includes health professionals, researchers, policymakers, and the general public. New articles are published electronically each month.

    Health Reports had an impact factor of 2.571 for 2017 and a five-year impact factor of 3.126. All articles are indexed in PubMed. Our online catalogue is free and receives more than 500,000 visits per year. External submissions are welcome.
