Modelled UVR data were spatially linked to members of the 1991 Canadian Census Health and Environment Cohort, a dataset comprising 2.6 million census respondents who were followed for melanoma diagnosis over an 18-year period.

The special topic this year is a comparison of the burden of cancer in Canada in 1997 to that reported in the first edition in 1987.
