PAYQ was subsequently implemented in both the Canadian Health Measures Survey (2014-2015) and the Canadian Community Health Survey (2015-2016). Using those surveys, this study compares accelerometer-measured and self-reported physical activity from the new PAYQ among Canadian youth.

The objective was to produce a national database entirely from open data and to evaluate the performance of open data compared with traditional or proprietary sources.
