Postal Codes ^OM by Federal Ridings File (PCFRF)

The Postal Codes^OM by Federal Ridings File (PCFRF) provides a link between the six-character postal code^OM and Canada's federal electoral districts. A federal electoral district (FED) is any place or territorial area entitled to return a Member of Parliament (MP) to serve in the House of Commons and is commonly referred to as a federal riding.

The last issue of this publication was the 2013 Representation Order file released on December 13, 2017. As of February 2018, the distribution of this product is shared between Statistics Canada and Canada Post Corporation. Statistics Canada will continue to provide it to our share partners and the Data Liberation Initiative. Canada Post Corporation will assume the distribution of this product to all others.
