This issue of Juristat describes changes in drug offences and impaired driving in Canada. It provides a broad examination of the relationships between drug and alcohol use, and crime. Trends in drug offences reported by police are examined, as well as conviction and sentencing data for adult and youth court cases relating to drug possession and trafficking.
