Longitudinal Analysis for Complex Surveys, 1998
Symposium 98 was the fifteenth in the series of international symposia on methodological issues sponsored by Statistics Canada. This year the symposium was also sponsored by the Centre de recherche mathématiques de l'Université de Montréal. Each year the symposium focuses on a particular theme. This year, the theme was on Longitudinal Analysis for Complex Surveys.
The 1998 symposium attracted over 300 people from 14 countries who met over two days, in the Simon Goldberg Conference Centre in Ottawa to listen to experts from various statistical agencies, government agencies as well as representatives from the private industries. A total of 25 papers were presented by the invited speakers. Aside from translation and formatting, the papers submitted by the authors have been reproduced in these proceedings.
