Investment in non-residential construction for Canada increased 0.6% in December compared with November 2025. Newfoundland and Labrador was down 2.4%, Prince Edward Island was down 3.5%, Nova Scotia was up 0.8%, New Brunswick was up 2.9%, Quebec was down 0.9%, Ontario was down 0.1%, Manitoba was down 0.6%, Saskatchewan was up 1.8%, Alberta was up 3.0%, British Columbia was up 2.4%, Yukon was down 2.4%, Northwest Territories was up 75.0% and Nunavut was down 6.2%.

Total investment for Canada was $6,911.7 million, total investment for Newfoundland and Labrador was $24.9 million, total investment for Prince Edward Island was $21.4 million, total investment for Nova Scotia was $133.5 million, total investment for New Brunswick was $114.5 million, total investment for Quebec was $1,213.3 million, total investment for Ontario was $2,918.2 million, total investment for Manitoba was $240.8 million, total investment for Saskatchewan was $192.4 million, total investment for Alberta was $941.7 million, total investment for British Columbia was $1,073.5 million, total investment for Yukon was $22.4 million, total investment for Northwest Territories was $3.3 million and total investment for Nunavut was $11.8 million.

Institutional: Market share was 30.5% and total investment totalled $2,111.2 million, representing a year-over-year increase of 7.9% or $153.8 million.
