Canadian Housing Survey: Public use microdata file, 2022

The 2022 Canadian Housing Survey public use microdata file is now available. Data were collected in all provinces for about 39,000 private households.
The file provides information on a range of topics including core housing need, dwelling characteristics, housing tenure, perceptions on economic hardship from housing costs, dwelling and neighbourhood satisfaction, housing moves, previous accommodations, access to transportation, shelter costs for owners and renters, community engagement, life and community satisfaction, and socio-demographic characteristics. The survey features an oversample of households in social and affordable housing.
