Investment in non-residential for Canada increased 1.2% in September compared to August 2023. Newfoundland and Labrador was down 4.1%, Prince Edward Island was down 3.9%, Nova Scotia was up 2.7%, New Brunswick was up 6.0%, Quebec was down 0.5%, Ontario was up 2.1%, Manitoba was up 0.7%, Saskatchewan was up 4.6%, Alberta was down 1.2%, British Columbia was up 2.5%, Yukon was up 3.4%, Northwest Territories was up 3.4%, Nunavut was up 7.3%.

Total investment for Canada was $6,023.7 million, total investment for Newfoundland and Labrador was $27.4 million, total investment for Prince Edward Island was $16.9 million, total investment for Nova Scotia was $83.9 million, total investment for New Brunswick was $74.5 million, total investment for Quebec was $1,309.4 million, total investment for Ontario was $2,556.7 million, total investment for Manitoba was $178.4 million, total investment for Saskatchewan was $121.4 million, total investment for Alberta was $703.5 million, total investment for British Columbia was $919.8 million, total investment for Yukon was $18.7 million, total investment for Northwest Territories was $9.4 million, total investment for Nunavut was $3.7 million.

Institutional: Market share was 25.7%, total investment totalled $1,545.5 million, representing a year-over-year increase of 6.0% or $87.8 million.
