Tuition fees for degree programs, 2023/2024

Today, Statistics Canada is releasing data related to the Tuition and Living Accommodation Costs Survey. This release includes information on tuition and compulsory fees for undergraduate and graduate degree programs by field of study and student status in Canada. Data are available at the national, provincial and territorial levels.

Highlights of the data are also available in the PowerBI web report, "Key Trends in Elementary to Postsecondary Student Enrolments, Graduations and Tuition Fees." This report overviews key findings of the 2023/2024 tuition fees.

This comprehensive data visualization tool combines information from three surveys: Tuition and Living Accommodation Costs, Elementary-Secondary Education Survey and the Postsecondary Student Information System. Each survey is released separately, and information includes the cost of tuition, an overview of total enrolment and graduation counts, characteristics of students and programs and details on new enrolments by gender, age group and student status.
