Open Database of Greenhouses

The Open Database of Greenhouses (ODG) is now available as part of Statistics Canada's Linkable Open Data Environment initiative.
The first version of the database (version 1.0) contains approximately 2,400 digitized greenhouses from 10 municipalities and 4 provinces across Canada. For each earth observation dataset, identified greenhouses are digitized in relation to the image, and the geographic datasets are then combined for a collective dataset across Canada.
The database leverages both open and publicly available data. The ODG is provided as open data under the Open Government Licence – Canada.

The Open Database of Greenhouses was made possible by the ongoing efforts of organizations that produce and maintain open data and by the cooperation with Statistics Canada of organizations that have either given permission to include their publicly available data or directly provided their data for release as open data.
