To ensure that the census remains responsive to the most pressing and emerging data needs of the country, Statistics Canada is conducting a consultation on content for the 2026 Census of Population. Listening to Canadians is an important step in determining and finalizing content for the 2026 Census.

Products
The Census Content Consultation Guide, 2026 (92-136-G) is available to help participants complete the consultation questionnaire and better understand how the content determination framework will be applied when defining questionnaire content for the 2026 Census.
