Table note 1
Includes eligible children younger than 18 years as of December 31, 2020, but excludes children living on reserve or in Nunavik because the schools located there are not under the jurisdiction of an official language minority school authority, with some exceptions.
Table note 2
The distance between eligible children and the nearest official language minority school is the distance, as the crow flies, between the centre of the block where the eligible child lives and the exact coordinates of the nearest official language minority school.
Table note 3
Urban children are the eligible children whose place of residence is in population centres, while rural children live outside population centres.
