Investment in non-residential construction for Canada increased by 1.1% compared with November 2021. Newfoundland and Labrador was down 2.7%, Prince Edward Island was down 3.9%, Nova Scotia was up 3.9%, New Brunswick was down 3.0%, Quebec was up 2.8%, Ontario was up 0.3%, Manitoba was down 0.9%, Saskatchewan was up 1.5%, Alberta was up 3.0%, British Columbia was up 0.2%, Yukon was up 2.0%, Northwest Territories was down 0.3% and Nunavut was down 3.5%.

Total investment for Canada was $4,931.7 million, total investment for Newfoundland and Labrador was $38.8 million, total investment for Prince Edward Island was $20.1 million, total investment for Nova Scotia was $58.9 million, total investment for New Brunswick was $52.9 million, total investment for Quebec was $1,160.5 million, total investment for Ontario was $2,046.2 million, total investment for Manitoba was $153.5 million, total investment for Saskatchewan was $88.3 million, total investment for Alberta was $623.7 million, total investment for British Columbia was $668.3 million, total investment for Yukon was $9.4 million, total investment for Northwest Territories was $3.3 million and total investment for Nunavut was $7.7 million.

Institutional: Market share was 27.6% and total investment was $1,361.9 million, representing a year-over-year increase of 20.0% or $227.0 million.
