Crop Condition Assessment Program, July 19 to October 10, 2021
Released: 2021-10-14
Weekly data on the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index for the period from July 19 to October 10, 2021 are now available.
The database holds the mean value of the one-kilometre resolution satellite picture elements within each of the census agriculture regions, census divisions and census consolidated subdivisions of Canada with pasture or cropland activity. The Crop Condition Assessment Program (CCAP) database, which provides information on crop and pasture conditions for all agricultural regions of Canada, is updated weekly from mid-April to mid-October. Since 2000, vegetation index data have been disseminated through the CCAP application, which is available on the Statistics Canada website.
Note to readers
Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada has partnered with Statistics Canada to provide the Crop Condition Assessment Program application. The Canada Centre for Mapping and Earth Observation, part of Natural Resources Canada, has also contributed by providing software for processing the input satellite data.
