Investment in non-residential construction for Canada increased 0.6% compared with July 2021. Newfoundland and Labrador was up 0.6%, Prince Edward Island was down 4.6%, Nova Scotia was up 0.1%, New Brunswick was up 1.9%, Quebec was up 1.2%, Ontario was up 0.9%, Manitoba was up 0.4%, Saskatchewan was up 2.7%, Alberta was down 0.2%, British Columbia was down 0.9%, Yukon was up 9.3%, Northwest Territories was down 5.2%, Nunavut was down 4.4%.

Total investment for Canada was $4,667.9 million, total investment for Newfoundland and Labrador was $40.3 million, total investment for Prince Edward Island was $25.2 million, total investment for Nova Scotia was $48.1 million, total investment for New Brunswick was $58.2 million, total investment for Quebec was $1,005.4 million, total investment for Ontario was $1,984.6 million, total investment for Manitoba was $153.2 million, total investment for Saskatchewan was $81.4 million, total investment for Alberta was $579.2 million, total investment for British Columbia was $673.8 million, total investment for Yukon was $9.1 million, total investment for Northwest Territories was $3.6 million, total investment for Nunavut was $5.8 million.

Institutional: Market share was 27.8%, total investment totalled $1,299.0 million, representing a year-over-year increase of 12.6% or $144.9 million.
