Data literacy, Statistics: Power from Data

Statistics: Power from Data! is a web-based training resource from Statistics Canada. This product can be used as an educational training tool for students, teachers and anyone else interested in learning more about the power of statistics.

Statistics: Power from Data! is made up of five main sections:

1. Data, statistical information and statistics

2. Sources of data

3. Data gathering and processing

4. Data exploration

5. Data visualization

As Canada's national statistical organization, Statistics Canada is committed to sharing its knowledge and expertise to support educators in advancing data literacy and skills among students and for Canadians more broadly.

This product is part of a suite of resources available to support data literacy training available through the Data Literacy Training Initiative.
