Note(s):
The old guidelines (Canadian Physical Activity Guidelines for Adults and Older Adults) recommended 150 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA) per week in sessions of 10 minutes or more for adults aged 18 to 79. The new physical activity recommendation is a part of the Canadian 24-Hour Movement Guidelines for Adults aged 18-64 years and for Adults aged 65 years and older and suggests an accumulation of at least 150 minutes of MVPA per week (without the 10-minute session requirement).
