Canadian manufacturers produced 1.6 billion cigarettes in February, down 1.3% from January 2021. Cigarette production was 16.7% higher compared with February 2020.
The total number of cigarettes sold decreased 4.8% to 1.2 billion from January 2021. The level of sales was 10.7% lower compared with February 2020.
