Investment in non-residential construction for Canada increased 0.2% compared with December 2020. Newfoundland and Labrador was up 10.4%, Prince Edward Island was up 3.7%, Nova Scotia was up 6.0%, New Brunswick was up 1.8%, Quebec was down 0.8%, Ontario was up 0.9%, Manitoba was down 2.1%, Saskatchewan was down 1.1%, Alberta was down 1.5%, British Columbia was up 0.7%, Yukon was down 4.7%, the Northwest Territories was down 5.2%, and total investment for Nunavut was too unreliable to be published.

Total investment for Canada was $4,446.3 million, total investment for Newfoundland and Labrador was $43.3 million, total investment for Prince Edward Island was $20.5 million, total investment for Nova Scotia was $49.3 million, total investment for New Brunswick was $48.5 million, total investment for Quebec was $944.7 million, total investment for Ontario was $1,871.5 million, total investment for Manitoba was $167.4 million, total investment for Saskatchewan was $76.5 million, total investment for Alberta was $533.5 million, total investment for British Columbia was $676.0 million, total investment for Yukon was $8.7 million, total investment for the Northwest Territories was $3.5 million, and total investment for Nunavut was too unreliable to be published.
