Electric Power Selling Price Index, February 2020
The Electric Power Selling Price Index (2014=100) is now available for February.
Note to readers
The Electric Power Selling Price Index is a monthly series that measures the price movements of sales of electricity by distributors to commercial and industrial users. Data are available for Canada, by region and by province.
With each release, data for the previous 12 months may have been revised. The index is not seasonally adjusted.
Statistics Canada has launched the Producer Price Indexes Portal as a part of a suite of portals for prices and price indexes. This webpage provides Canadians with a single point of access to a wide variety of statistics and measures related to producer prices.
The video "Producer Price Indexes" is available on the Statistics Canada Training Institute webpage. It provides an introduction to Statistics Canada's Producer Price Indexes: what they are, how they are compiled and what they are used for.
