Information in this table reflects data covering 96.2% of the Canadian population, from municipal and provincial police services as well as the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). Due to non-reporting of detailed information, this table excludes Saint John and Calgary police services. However, it does include any incidents that occurred within the Saint John or Calgary police services' jurisdiction that were investigated by the RCMP. Total includes hate crimes where the motivation was unknown.
