Investment in residential construction for Canada increased 0.6% compared to June 2019. Newfoundland and Labrador down 15.0%, Prince Edward Island up 12.2%, Nova Scotia up 14.9%, New Brunswick up 3.0%, Quebec down 1.0%, Ontario up 5.4%, Manitoba down 2.8%, Saskatchewan down 20.3%, Alberta up 4.1%, British Columbia down 7.3%, Yukon down 6.4%, Northwest Territories down 39.4%, Nunavut up 15.6%.

Single homes: Market share was 42.8%, total investment totalled $2,302.3 million, representing a year-over-year decrease of 11.2% or $291.7 million.
Semi-detached homes: Market share was 3.6%, total investment totalled $195.2 million, representing a year-over-year decrease of 8.1% or $17.2 million.
Row homes: Market share was 10.6%, total investment totalled $571.0 million, representing a year-over-year increase of 15.6% or $76.9 million.
Condo and rental apartments: Market share was 43.0%, total investment totalled $2,311.9 million, representing a year-over-year increase of 6.2% or $135.6 million.
