Investment in residential construction for Canada increased 3.6% compared to March 2019. Newfoundland and Labrador up 9.0%, Prince Edward Island down 13.5%, Nova Scotia down 2.6%, New Brunswick up 10.9%, Quebec up 4.0%, Ontario up 1.3%, Manitoba up 33.7%, Saskatchewan down 16.6%, Alberta down 1.8%, British Columbia up 10.2%, Yukon down 4.6%, Northwest Territories up 33.0%, Nunavut up 8.6%.

Row houses: Market share is 11.9%, total investment totalled $459.9 million, representing a year-over-year increase of 3.5% or $15.7 million.

Apartments: Market share is 52.6%, total investment totalled $2,028.5 million, representing a year-over-year increase of 15.7% or $274.5 million.
