Investment in residential construction for Canada decreased 2.0% compared with February 2019. Newfoundland and Labrador down 14.8%, Prince Edward Island down 0.5%, Nova Scotia up 10.4%, New Brunswick down 11.3%, Quebec down 0.8%, Ontario up 1.3%, Manitoba down 9.7%, Saskatchewan down 5.6%, Alberta down 7.6%, British Columbia down 6.5%, Yukon up 23.0%, Northwest Territories down 28.0%, Nunavut down 3.9%.

Row houses: Market share is 11.6%, total investment totalled $406.5 million, representing a year-over-year decrease of 14.2% or $67.1 million.

Apartments: Market share is 58.0%, total investment totalled $2,031.6 million, representing a year-over-year increase of 18.2% or $313.2 million.
