Couriers and Messengers Services Price Index, December 2018
The Couriers and Messengers Services Price Index (CMSPI) decreased 0.3% in December, following a 0.2% increase in November.
The couriers component was down 0.2%, while the local messengers and local delivery component declined 0.8%.
The CMSPI rose 3.9% in December compared with the same month a year earlier. Both the couriers (+3.6%) and the local messengers and local delivery components (+5.0%) increased.

The Couriers and Messengers Services Price Index is a monthly index that measures the price changes for courier and messenger services provided by long- and short-distance delivery companies to Canadian-based business clients.
Data are available at the Canada level only.
