Note to readers
These data are subject to revision.
This information is collected using the Annual Survey of Manufacturing and Logging Industries.
Changes in methodology were made to the Annual Survey of Manufacturing and Logging Industries beginning with the 2013 reference year. Among them is the adoption of the 2012 North American Product Classification System (Canada) (NAPCS), which replaces the list of goods from the 2004 Annual Survey of Manufactures. Users should therefore use caution when comparing current data with historical data prior to 2013.
For more information on the methodology changes, consult the document The Integrated Business Statistics Program in the Behind the data feature of our website.
