The study "Civic engagement and political participation in Canada" is now available.
The study provides a variety of information on the civic engagement of Canadians, particularly their participation in groups, organizations and associations, and examines the most common types of groups and the frequency of individuals' participation.
The study also presents the most recent data on various types of political activities in which Canadians take part, such as participating in public meetings, signing petitions and voting.
Note to readers
A report that deals more specifically with the political participation and civic engagement of Canadian youth will be published on October 7.
