Prices received by farmers in February for grains, oilseeds, specialty crops, potatoes, cattle, hogs, poultry, eggs and dairy products are now available.
The February Alberta feeder steers price was $234.81 per hundredweight, down 1.4% from January, but up 45.1% from February 2014 when the price was $161.84.
The Ontario grain corn price in February was $186.08 per tonne, down 0.5% from January, but up 6.2% from February 2014 when the price was $175.27.
