Realized net farm income amounted to $4.5 billion in 2010, an increase of $1.4 billion (+46.1%) from 2009 as the decline in operating costs outpaced a slight decrease in receipts. The increase in 2010 followed a 16.6% drop in 2009.
In 2010, 8 out of 10 Canadian households (79%) had access to the Internet. Over one-half of connected households used more than one type of device to go online.
