Revised 2006 data for foreign control in the Canadian economy are now available on CANSIM. The foreign control data for 2007 will be released later in 2009.
Foreign control data are based on information obtained under the Corporations Returns Act, combined with information from the annual Financial and Taxation Statistics program.
This release uses the annual financial and taxation statistics published on March 10.
