Canadian economic accounts, third quarter 2008 and September 2008
Real gross domestic product increased 0.3% in the third quarter, after remaining essentially flat over the first half of the year. Most of the third quarter gain occurred in July. Economic activity edged up 0.1% in September following a decline in August. A more detailed analysis and additional data tables are available in Canadian Economic Accounts Quarterly Review.
