Canadian universities and affiliated teaching hospitals reported more than $59 million as income from intellectual property. In 2006, researchers reported or disclosed 1,356 new inventions to Canadian universities and teaching hospitals.
Final estimates from the 2006 Survey of Intellectual Property Commercialization in the Higher Education Sector are now available.
An annual report covering highlights, analysis and detailed data tables will be released this fall.
