Wednesday, February 25, 2004  Perspectives on Labour and IncomeFebruary 2004 online edition The feature article in the February 2004 online edition of Perspectives on Labour and Income, released today, is "More seniors at work." The article uses the 2001 Census to update an earlier study focussing on the occupations of seniors who continue to work beyond age 65 - the traditional age of retirement. A related piece looks at trends in the near-retirement rate between 1987 and 2002. This rate identifies the percentage of workers who are within 10 years of the median retirement age. The February 2004 online edition of Perspectives on Labour and Income, Vol. 5 no. 2 (75-001-XIE, $6/$52) is now available.
