Production and disposition of tobacco products, November 2022

Canadian manufacturers produced 1.4 billion cigarettes in November 2022, up 32.2% from October 2022. Cigarette production was 6.9% lower compared with November 2021.
The total number of cigarettes sold decreased 0.4% to 1.3 billion from October 2022. The level of sales was 10.8% lower compared with November 2021.
