Forage seed usage data are now available for 2019.
Note to readers
Forage seed usage data help to evaluate trends in the usage of improved forage seed varieties, by quantifying the volumes of seeds shipped to Canadian customers. Data are available at the provincial level, in both imperial and metric units of measure (pounds and kilograms), for the years 2008 to 2019.
Data for 2019 are from the 2019 Annual Forage Seed Usage Survey, which was conducted from October 11, 2019, to February 3, 2020. Data for 2019 cover the reference period from July 1, 2018, to June 30, 2019.
