Due to the high level of public interest, the 2021 Census of Population content consultations conducted using an electronic questionnaire have been extended until February 9, 2018.
Before each census, Statistics Canada initiates an extensive consultation program that allows data users and interested parties across Canada to share their views on how they use census data and the type of information they believe should be available from the census.
Statistics Canada is also seeking ideas for new or modified census content, as well as data sources that could be used to supplement or replace current content, to ensure that the information collected in the census remains relevant while minimizing the response burden on Canadians.
Canadians can fill out the electronic questionnaire on Statistics Canada's website until Friday, February 9, 2018.
